Litro Gas Lanka has decided to increase the price of a 12.5kg gas cylinder by Rs 195 with effect from midnight today (Sept 26).
Accordingly, the gas cylinder which costs Rs 1,538 at present will be increased to Rs 1,733.
The reason for the price hike is attributed to the requests of various gas companies that were approved by the Cabinet. The determination of the price was assigned to the Cost of Living Committee.
However, it is reported that prices may differ in various districts.
