District office in Galle to obtain NIC's to be opened this month
The Department of Registration of Persons will declare open its district office in Galle on September 29, Internal and Home Affairs Minister Vajira Abeywardena said.
He explained that the office would be constructed at a cost of Rs 450 million and is expected to issue 1,000 National Identity Card (NIC)'s through the one-day service.
