The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) is questioning 66 individuals who are under custody over the Easter Sunday attacks, Police Spokesman Ruwan Gunasekara said today (May 30).
Issuing a statement, the Spokesman also noted that 21 suspects are currenly being interrogated under the custody of the Terrorist Investigations Department (TID).
Further, 1800 phone calls which were received by the Easter Sunday suicide bombers prior to the attacks are also being investigated by the CID, Mr. Gunasekara said.
This is in addition to the CID's probe into 23 laptops, three computers,138 mobile phones, 30 Hard disks, 12 pen drives and 142 SIMs, suspected to have been linked to the terrorist attacks.
