Four more Presidential candidates place cash deposits bringing total contesting count to 13
Four cash deposits were made in order to contest the Presidential polls, bringing the total number of candidates up to 13, the Election Commission said.
Among those who have made deposits so far, eight have been nominated from recognised political parties, while four have come forward as independent candidates.
The candidates who made their deposits today are as follows ;
- Sihala Urumaya - Sarath Manamendra
- National Development Front - Rohan Pallewatta
- Socialist Equality Party - Pani Wijesiriwardena
- Nava Sama Samaja Pakshaya - Baddegamage Nandamitra
