The two German parliamentarians who are responsible for Development and Economical cooperation met with the Northern Chief Minister C. V. Wigneswarn today to discuss the ongoing development projects funded by the German government. Following the meeting German Ambassador Juergen Morhard said that the German parliamentarians are on a fact finding mission and to evaluate the progress of German sponsored projects including a Vocational training Institute in Kilinochchi. ' We are hoping to open this institute by April. Around 700 students can be enrolled at once in this institute before they start a self employment such as carpentering or mason.' he said.
