Heavy traffic has been reported along Olcott Mawatha, Pettah due to a protest which is being staged opposite the Fort Railway station.
Protestors demanded the arrests of Minister Rishad Bathiudeen, along with former Governors Azath Salley and M.L.A.M Hizbullah.
The final rites of veteran broadcaster, writer, and lyricist Nirmala de Alwis will be held today at Peradeniya.
