Former Governor M L A M Hizbullah appeared before the Terrorist Investigation Division today (Jun 15) morning, police spokesman Ruwan Gunasekara said.
He had arrived to record a statement regarding an incident in which he had met two Saudi nationals at a hotel in Kalkudah while a curfew was in effect. The meeting had taken place at 10 pm on April 22.
Accordingly, Mr. Hizbullah had arrived at the TID at around 9:45 am to record a statement over the incident, Spokesman Gunasekara noted.
