Police have so far recorded statements from over 30 persons in connection to the murder of a hotel owner in Kesbewa yesterday.
A post-mortem inquiry conducted at the Kalubowila Teaching Hospital has found that death was caused by injuries caused to the head using a blunt weapon, police further stated.
Piliyandala Police, which is conducting investigations, has also taken steps to analyse CCTV footage from around the location, police added.
