A fire that swept through a group of line houses at Agarakanda Estate in Lindula this morning completely destroyed 10 line houses. All belongings in the houses were destroyed by the fire.
The fire has resulted in the displacement of 75 persons from 10 families.
The displaced have been given temporary accomodation in a nearby cultural centre. (PCK/ Pix by G. Krishanthan).
