In Pictures: Rains cause flooding in Armour Street
There are parts of Colombo that become flooded even during a short but severe downpour. For those who frequent Armour Street, this is not a new sight. The problem has persisted for decades, yet authorities seem either unable, or unwilling to resolve the issue.
These pictures are from this morning, when a shower lasting less than half an hour left part of the road inundated.
