Schools across the country reopened for selected classes today (6) for the first time since March after being shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Classes recommenced today for Grades 5, 11 and 13.
It was a completely different situation for both students and staff of schools given the strict health and social distancing guidelines that have been put in place by health authorities to minimise risk of infection. Masks were mandatory and handwashing facilities have also been installed in schools.
Classes for grades 10 and 2 will resume on July 20. On July 27, classes will be resumed for grades 3, 4, 6, 7, 8 and 9. Lastly grades 1 and 2 will resume classes on August 10.
