Foreign Minister Mangala Samaraweera chaired the Commonwealth Foreign Ministers Meeting held in New York yesterday, Foreign ministry said in a statement. Foreign Ministers from across the Commonwealth attended the meeting. He also held talks with the Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, Kamalesh Sharma.
A Sri Lanka Air Force Bell 212 helicopter belonging to the No. 72 squadron has crashed into the Madhuru Oya reservoir this morning, Air FOrce Media Spokesman Eranda Geeganage said.
