Minister Abdul Haleem has requested Muslims to avoid gathering for congregational prayers tomorrow (Apr 25) as a sign of solidarity with the Catholic Community in the aftermath of last Sunday's terrorist attacks.
He also appealed to all the Muslims to refrain from doing so as a gesture of protest against the 'barbaric act of the ruthless terrorists' who were involved in the recent explosions on Easter Sunday.
"We stand with the Christian brothers and sisters during their time of grief," the Minister of Muslim Religious Affairs said in a statement
