A motorcycle believed to have been used in a shooting in Kohuwala yesterday (Jul 28), has been recovered without a number plate by a road in Delkanda, police said.
Police Spokesman Ruwan Gunasekara told media that three 9mm bullets had been recovered at the scene of the incident in Jambugasmulla, along with seven empty bullet shells and a pair of footwear.
One individual had succumbed to death while another is receiving treatment at the Colombo General hospital. They had been travelling in a Land Cruiser jeep at the time of the shooting.
