Parliamentarian S Viyalendran has commenced a fast unto death protest in Batticaloa this morning urging the removal of certain politicians over the Easter Sunday attacks.
The MP demanded that Minister Rishad Bathiudeen along with Governors A.L.A.M Hizbullah and Azath Salley must be removed from their positions.
MP Viyalendran entered Parliament through the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) and later crossed over to the Joint Opposition.
Meanwhile, parliamentarian Ven. Rathana Thero's fast-unto-death campaign opposite the Dalada Maligawa temple for the same cause entered its second day today (June 1).
