UPFA MP Namal Rajapaksa arrived at the Criminal Investigations Department today a short while ago.
On June 8, he made a note on social media that he had been handed over a notice to appear at the CID. No reason was given him by the police.
It is speculated that Rajapaksa was summoned to be queried over the recent comments made by Southern Province Fisheries Minister DV Upul, at a meeting in Rajapaksa's presence.
