Anti-Corruption Front President Namal Kumara left the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) today following hours of questioning. Reportedly, he was interrogated for nearly 10 hours at the CID
Mr Kumara presented audio recordings at a recent media briefing between himself and DIG Nalaka De Silva where the latter reportedly spoke of incriminating the Senior DIG in charge of the Special Task Force. Kumara said that DIG Nalaka De Silva desired the position of the STF Chief.
Meanwhile, the Colombo Fort Magistrate ordered media institutions to hand over unedited video clips of the recent media conference held by Kumara.
