A team of navy divers have recovered the body of an individual believed to be of a fisherman who had drowned in the Galihena lagoon yesterday (Jan 12).
The recovery operation which lasted five hours was carried out following a request by the Chilaw Police.
The remains of the suspect who has been identified as a resident of Galihena has been handed over to the Wattala Police.
