Two new State Ministers and five Deputy Ministers were sworn in before President Maithripala Sirisena at the Presidential Secretariat, today (June 12).
According to a statement by the President's media division the following State Ministers were sworn in:
Ranjith Aluvihare - State Minister of Tourism and Christian Religious Affairs
Lucky Jayawardena - State Minister of Hill Country New Villeges, Infrastructure and Community Development
The newly appointed Deputy Ministers are as follows:
Kader Masthan - Deputy Minister of Resettlement and Hindu Religious Affaris
Angajan Ramanathan - Deputy Ministers of Agriculture
Ajith Mannapperuma - Deputy Minister of Environment
Edward Gunesekara - Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Wayamba Development
Nalin Bandara - Deputy Minister of Public Administration and Management and Law and Order

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa is due to vacate his official residence at Wijerama Mawatha, Colombo this morning, a Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) source said.
The Presidents’ Entitlements (Repeal) Bill was passed by a majority of 150 in parliament today. However the opposition MP’s were absent during the voting.
