No close relative of President in Sri Lanka Foreign Service: Presidential Secretariat

The Presidential Secretariat reiterated that here is no family member of President Maithripala Sirisena or a close relative of him employed in the Sri Lanka Foreign Service.

"An inaccurate and baseless news item has been circulated in the Internet stating that a relative of the President’s family is included in the staff of a foreign mission of Sri Lanka. It is a story which is totally false and is intended to mislead the public." a statement from the Secretariat said.
