The National People's Power (NPP) alliance will reveal its symbol after the presidential polls are announced officially Parliamentarian Nalinda Jayatissa said.
"We will inform the public of the colour and the symbol of the alliance in near future," he said.
The NPP alliance is led by the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna.
Jayatissa said that awareness on the alliance would be carried out through programmes called the 'People's Forum'.
This programme would be held in Anuradhapura before being carried out in other districts.
Meanwhile, JVP parliamentarian Bimal Ratnayake said that the NPP alliance would commence its election campaign today (Sept 8).
The NPP has nominated JVP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake as its candidate for the presidential elections.
