President Maithripala Sirisena has appointed a three-member committee to conduct investigations into yesterday's series of tragic incidents in the country.
The committe will be headed by Supreme court judge Vijith Malalgoda. Former IGP N.K. Ilangakoon and Former Law & Order Ministry Secretary Padamasiri Jayamanne have been appointed as members of the committee.
The committee has been instructed to submit a report on yesterday's explosion within two weeks to the President.
