Protests have erupted outside the Sri Lankan embassy in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, for dragging investigations pertaining to war crimes.
According to Indian media reports, the protestors were demanding that the Indian government take up the issue at the ongoing UNHRC sessions in Geneva and demand that immediate action be taken.
The protest was reported to have been organised by the Ezha Tamilar Vaalvurimani kootamaipu along with several VCK party leaders participating, ANI reported.
