Dr Victor Chiujdea, Ambassador of Romania, met Dr Harsha de Silva, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs today at the Ministry. The Ambassador emphasized on the longstanding diplomatic ties between the two countries established in 1957. Among other things, both Ambassador Chiujdea and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed the need to expedite the signing of bilateral agreements on education, science, culture, mass media, youth and sports, investment promotion and protection etc. during the discussion.
