Six new Governors sworn in
Six newly appointed Provincial Governors took oaths before President Maithripala Sirisena earlier today at the Presidential Secretariat.
The details of newly appointed six governors as follows:
HMGS Palihakkara - Northern Province Governor
Austin Fernando - Eastern Province Governor
BMRA Perera - Sabaragamuwa Province Governor
Surangani Ellawala - Central Province Governor
PB Dissanayake - North Central Province Governor
Attorney-at-Law MP Jayasinghe - Uva Province Governor
Earlier, Mr K.C. Yogeswaran, Mrs. Amara Piyaseeli Ratnayake and Mr. Hemakumara Nanayakkara were sworn in as Governors of Western, North Western and Southern Provinces respectively.
