Speaker Karu Jayasuirya is expected to call on President Maithripala Sirisena today.
Yesterday, the Speaker had informed party leaders that he would urge the President to convene Parliament prior to November 16.
Speaker Karu Jayasuriya had also written to the President to convene Parliament and restore the Yahapalana mandate.
