Speaker Karu Jayasuriya today signed three Ordinance bills of Municipal Council (Amendment) Bill, Urban Council (Amendment) Bill and Pradeshiya Sabha (Amendment) Bill after passed in Parliament this week.
Earlier Minister of Local government and Provincial Councils Faizer Musthapha said those amendments will be published in the government gazette after signed by the Speaker.
A short while later, the official car of the Commander of the Navy, bearing plate NAHA 5006, departed from Navy House, Longdon Place, Colombo 7.
