The Government is to introduce tax concessions for foreign investments from next year, State Minister for Investment Promotion Keheliya Rambukwella said.
He said that in order to improve investments a range of concessions will be introduced depending on the size of the investments and agreement will be reached with the Finance Ministry on how the concessions will be offered.
Minister Rambukwella said they hope to introduce a team of officials who will work with investors to obtain approval for the projects.
Also the Ministry plans to carryout a worldwide promotional campaign to attract foreign investments.
