Rail services along the coastal line have been delayed since morning today (Jun 03), the Railway's Controller General's office said.
The delay has been caused since a train had stalled due to a technical fault, between Bamabalapitiya and Kollupitiya this morning.
The final rites of veteran broadcaster, writer, and lyricist Nirmala de Alwis will be held today at Peradeniya.
