Two arrested over murder of Bambalapitiya businessman

Two suspects, aged 22 and and 23 years, have been arrested by the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) over the abduction and murder of a 29-year-old businessman from Bambalapitiya. 

The victim was abducted from opposite his home on the night of August 21. The Mawanella police found his body from the Rukmalgala, Hemmathagama area on August 24. 

Police had earlier obtained a court order barring five persons allegedly connected to the murder from traveling overseas.
