Two students killed in road accident

Two students aged 16 and 19 years have been killed when their motorbike collided head-on with a Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) bus at Pitawalgamuwa in Deiyandara this morning, police said. 

The bus had been traveling from Hakmana to Deiyandara when it collided with the motorbike traveling in the opposite direction at about 6.45am. 

The victims have been identified as Kelum Sandaruwan (16) and Indrajith Kumara (19). Both are residents of Denagama. 

The bus driver has been arrested by police.
