A voter turnout of more than fifty percentage was reported island wide by 12.30 P.M today, election officials said.
Around 52 percent voter turnout has been recorded in Jaffna and Polonnaruwa districts. The voter turnout of other districts as follows: Colombo - 52% Gampaha- 48% Kandy- 60% Matala- 55% Nuwara Eliya - 58%
