STF Passing Off Demonstration of the 81st Basic Training Course

The Special Task Force (STF) held the passing off demonstration of the 81st Basic Training Course at the STF Training Wing in Katukurunda on Wednesday (November 9).

In the event where 191 constables were passed off, Police Constable 101051 D.D. Darshana was selected as the best police constable of the course, while Apprentice Police Constable K. D. D. L. Madhushanka was selected as the best amateur shooter.

Group No. 2 emerged as the group who excelled in all aspects of the course.

Minister of Public Security, Tiran Alles, participated as the chief guest, with S. Hetitiarachichi, the Secretary of the Ministry of Public Security, while the Commander of the Special Task Force DIG Varuna Jayasundara and the STF Kalutara Zonal Commanding Officer Senior Superintendent of Police, Athula Ratnayake, participated in the event.
