Lanka Premier League 2022's emerging player of the tournament - Vijayakanth Viyaskanth - earned himself a promotion after getting selected for the Bangladesh Premier League's (BPL) Chattogram Challengers
Viyaskanth, speaking to Timesonline on Thursday (29), confirmed he had got the offer, however, claimed he is waiting for the No Objection Certificate from the cricket board.
He took 13 wickets in eight innings getting adjudged as the emerging player of the tournament.
With the offer, the Jaffna born-and-bred leg-spinner, became the 14 player overall, to get drafted for the year-opening's franchise tournament, starting on January 6.
