NDB Bank is continuing its partnership with Trinity College Rugby for the fourth consecutive year, this time as the Official Banking Partner for the 2025 Schools Rugby Season. Announced at a press conference held recently, this collaboration underscores NDB’s continued commitment to Sri Lanka’s sporting excellence and the development of young athletes, the bank said in a media release.

Speaking at the press conference, NDB Bank’s CEO, Kelum Edirisinghe, stated, “Rugby is more than just a sport—it is a testament to discipline, perseverance, and teamwork, values that resonate strongly with us at NDB. As the Official Banking Partner for the 2025 Schools Rugby Season, we are honoured to stand behind these young athletes as they push their limits and pursue excellence. Our commitment extends beyond the field, as we continuously work towards empowering Sri Lanka’s youth to achieve their full potential.”

As a long-standing supporter of the game, NDB Bank recognises the dedication and determination that define school rugby—qualities that align with the bank’s own ethos of resilience and progress. With Trinity College gearing up for an exciting season ahead, NDB is delighted to stand alongside them, empowering young sportsmen to push boundaries and aim for greater heights.

The upcoming Bradby Shield Encounter will undoubtedly be a season highlight, as Trinity College looks to build on last year’s triumph. With school rugby continuing to be a defining force in Sri Lanka’s sporting landscape, NDB Bank is honoured to play a role in fostering the spirit of competition and camaraderie that makes the game truly special.

NDB remains committed to driving progress, through the world of sports and empowering the country’s youth. As the rugby season unfolds, the bank looks forward to witnessing an inspiring display of talent, passion, and determination on the field.
