Sri Lanka will host the England Under-19 cricket team during November and December for a Limited Over Series, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) confirmed.
Sri Lanka and England will be engaged in a five-match Youth One Day International series, which begins on November 30 and ends on December 10.
The five matches have been scheduled for November 30, December 3, 5, 8 and 10 with the venue confirmed as the Sinhalese Sports Club (SSC) ground in Colombo.
The England Under-19 team is scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka on November 22, and the series will take place under a Bio Bubble Environment.
"We just completed a 5-0 win against Bangladesh, and it did give us an opportunity to assess our team," stated said Avishka Gunawardene, the Head Coach of Sri Lanka Under-19s.
"We will use the upcoming England series to tighten few loose ends, as there is always room for improvement and establish firmly as a team, and be ready to peak, when the Youth World Cup approaches in the year 2022," he further said.
