Sri Lanka's U19 girls at their opening warm-up fixture of the T20 World Cup had a walk in the park blowing UAE to UAE, beating them 52-runs on Monday, in Johannessburg, South Africa.
Batting first, the lasses managed to muster only 90, of which, Nethmi's Senarathna's 53 were the bulk of the runs.
Defending that, they skittled UAE with Vidushika Perera and Devmi Wijeratne's both taking three-wickets apiece.
The Lankans next meet Scotland on Wednesday.
Chief scores:
SL U19: 90 for nine (20) (Nethmi Senarathna 53, Geethika Jyothis 2/10, Indhuja Nandakumar 1/17) beat
UAE U19: 38 all out (13.3) (Theertha Satish 7, Vidushika Perera 3/5, Devmi Wijeratne 3/4)
