The Masters Athletics Association of Sri Lanka has decided to send 243 veteran athletes for the Asian Masters Athletics Championships to be held from September 23 to 28 in Rugo, China.
The meet is conducted by the Asian Masters Athletics Association where over 40 countries will send their athletes.
There will be 152 men and 92 women in the Sri Lanka contingent.
There will be 10 officials accompanying the team.
The overall manager of the team is P.H.D. Waidyatilleke.
The Assistant Manager is Senani Bogahawatte.
The Team Captain will be M.L. Perera.
Assistant Managers are H.A. Upali, Dickman Guruge, H.W. Nimalasiri, Manjula Pieris, Vajira Jagodarachchi, D.S. Balasuriya, S. M. Gamage and Priyantha Herath.
Overall Manager P.H. D. Waidyatilleke will be the Technical Officer at the Asian Masters Athletics Championships as well.
