The 17th LSR Colombo Marathon will take place on Sunday (8) commencing at 6.00am opposite the BMICH at Bauddhaloka Mawatha.
The organisers have received more than 8000 applications from 47 countries representing all the continents of the world.
In the past, this event has been conducted from Colombo to Negombo.
However, with the development of the City of Colombo, it has been decided that the Fun Runs of 5Km and 10Km will be held in a circular route within the city limits of Colombo, which will showcase the beauty and nature of the city of Colombo.
As a result, it has been scheduled to end the 5Km and 10km near the Race Course, Colombo 7.
As usually both full and half marathons will be continuing down on Negombo Road through the Baseline road and will conclude respectively in Hekitta and Thalahena.
