The National Institute of Sports Science (NISS) is planning to conduct a fully fledged programme on physiotherapy and fitness on November 29 in Colombo.
The NISS stated that the programme will be conducted by reputed Australian physiotherapist Thilina Vithanrana.
"The NISS would like to invite coaches, fitness trainers, physios, physical educators and sports administrators to attend a seminar to be conducted at the NISS auditorium on November 29," a press release issued by NISS stated.
"The primary aim of the seminar is to help the above professionals, who may be without an in-depth knowledge on physiotherapy and fitness, to make themselves aware of the situations when dealing with elite athletes."
"The seminar will conducted by Thilina Vitharana, an experienced physiotherapist from Sydney, Australia. Thilina has been invited for the seminar by NISS. The seminar will commence at 8.30am and conclude at 4.00pm. Interested individuals could contact Chathura Rodrigo on 0778563562 to confirm participation," it further stated.
