Former Sri Lanka fast bowler Graeme Labrooy is confirmed to take over the Selection Committee of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC).
According to reports Labrooy will head the SLC Selection Committee and his appointment has been confirmed by the SLC top brass.
The rest of the members to be included in the Selection Committee, are yet to be finalised.
Currently Labrooy is an ICC match referee - officiating associate and low tier games internationally.
His appointment with the ICC and the new role with SLC may come in as a conflict of interest but Labrooy has sought clarification from the ICC on how he should proceed, according to reports.
Labrooy represented Sri Lanka in nine Tests and 44 ODIs from 1986 to 1992.
