The Lanka Cavaliers 20th Anniversary Six-a side Cricket Tournament is rescheduled.
The new date for the event is now September 30 and the venue would be the same.
The event which was to be held on 16 September was postponed due inclement weather.
The organising committee headed by Basil Perera visited De Soysa Park, Moratuwa (designated venue) on Thursday (14) and took a call to postpone the event, bearing in mind the present uncertain weather pattern, heavy conditions under foot and the safety of the Senior Cricketers taking part in the tournament.
All teams consist of players over 45 and one player over 50.
