Sri Lankan cricketer Nuwan Kulasekara has been arrested and bailed after being involved in a fatal road accident.
The accident happened on Monday when the car Kulasekara was driving collided with a motorbike, killing the rider on the spot. Sri Lanka Cricket said the motorbike rider had lost control while trying to overtake a bus and was flung into Kulasekara's path.
The 34-year-old seam bowler last played for Sri Lanka in March in a WorldT20 game against the West Indies and had been overlooked for the tour of England and the home series against Australia that followed.
In June he announced retirement from test cricket after 21 matches to concentrate on one-day internationals and Twenty20 games.
