Sri Lanka Table Tennis players Erandi Warusawithana and Ishara Madurangi won their Group stage games at the Commonwealth Games 2018 today (10).
Warusawithana beat Cynthia Kwabi of Ghana 4-0 in a Group 3 match with set scores of 11-8, 11-8, 11-4 and 11-5.
She will take on Rheann Chung of Trinidad and Tobago in another group match later today, at 2.00pm Sri Lanka time.
Madurangi had a stiff competition to defeat Ruqayyah Kindo of Mauritius 4-1 with set scores of 11-3, 9-11, 12-10, 11-7 and 11-8.
She will take on England's Denise Payet in another group match at 2.40pm Sri Lanka time today.
