Golfers will get their opportunity to tee off at one of Sri Lanka's premier 18-hole championship golf courses, when the annual HSBC Premier Golf Tournament heads to the Shangri La Resort and Spa in Hambantota on the 15th and 16th of September.
The tournament is known to attract the top golfers in the country and will kick off with a customary pre-event - ‘Chip a Way on the 18th’ scheduled to start at 6.30 pm on September 15.
This will be followed by the tournament on 16th of September which will be played on a Stableford format.
Premier golfers will compete for the Premier Challenge Trophy and two overall category winners will get to witness the Word Golf Championship – HSBC Champions tournament (WGC) held at the Sheshan International Golf course in Shanghai from 26-29 October 2017.
The lucky winners will each receive a fully sponsored hospitality package to witness this international tournament that will see the world’s top 50 golfers such as Dustin Johnson, Rory McIlroy and Jason Day to name a few in action.
