The Sri Lanka Masters Women National Hockey team will participate in the PISTA Penang International Tournament 2017, which is scheduled to be held in mid December in Malaysia.
The PISTA Penang International is one of the world's biggest hockey carnivals and this is the first time that Sri Lanka makes their appearance at this competition.
The team includes Manoji Pradeepika, Ruweiza Selda, Sobitha Mendis, Inoka Abeygunawardana, Thushari Perera, Achala Perera, Chamila Gunawardana, Renu Yapa, Chandima Rajawardana, Nishanthi Kumburegama, Mala Pandithanayaka, Iromi Gunawardana, Isha Manohari, Shereen Prabakaran and Roopika de Silva.
The team is managed by M.H.M. Naleem, a former Sri Lanka National Hockey captain, will also act as the manager and team coordinator while Ranjith Alahakoon, a former national player, is the adviser.
