Despite the return of former captain Danushka Ranjan, the National Rugby Selectors have decided to continue with the captaincy of Sudharshana Muthuthanthri for the Second Leg of the Asian Rugby 7s Series to be held in South Korea, this weekend.
Sri Lanka finished overall fifth in the First Leg of the three-installment championship held in Hong Kong sans some of the key players due to injuries.
However two such players -- Ranjan and Chanaka Chandimal were named fit for the second leg in Korea.
From the members of the squad that travelled to Hong Kong last month, winger Kavindu Perera was not named due to an injury while Samith Dananjaya has been dropped.
Sri Lanka will play in Pool 'A' along Japan, China and Chinese Taipei.
