Army SC defeated Police SC by 32-18 in their first round match of the Dialog Rugby League Championship played at Ratmalana on Sunday (10).
The game was intensely contested by both sides in the first half, which ended in a 8-all stalemate.
Army scored from four tries, three conversions and two penalties.
Police made up their points through three unconverted tries and a penalty.
