Saracens Sports Club beat Sri Lanka Ports Authority by 50 runs in an AIA Premier Limited Overs Cricket Tournament match played at the CCC ground in Colombo on Wednesday (2).
Saracens, choosing to bat first, were however restricted to 199-8 in 50 overs with Harsha Cooray making a defiant knock of 65 off 132 balls inclusive of four boundaries.
But the Ports Authority batsmen were not given the room to settle down by Saracens bowlers, spearheaded by Umesh Karunaratne, who claimed to wickets.
They were bowled out for 149 with 56 deliveries remaining.
