Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bowl first against India in the first of three Test matches which will begin in a short while at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata today (16).
The toss was delayed for a considerable time as rain delayed the proceedings by a session and a half.
Sri Lanka fields a team with six expert batsmen, four bowlers and a fast bowling allrounder as former skipper Angelo Mathews makes a comeback to the Test side after a lapse of four months from an injury.
India comes out with a lineup of five expert batsmen, two allrounders and three pacemen.
